ఇంటర్నెట్ లో చూసిన ఓ పోస్ట్ కి నా లో కదిలిన ఆలోచనలే ఈ పోస్టు… ఆ పోస్టు లో ఇలా రాసుంది " Before you get married... discuss bills, parenting styles, credit, debt, religion, how to deal with family, what beliefs will be instilled in your children, childhood traumas, sexual expectations, partner expectations, financial expectations, family health history, mental health history, bucket list, dream home, careers and education, political views and whatever else comes to mind. Love alone is not enough" పెళ్ళవ్వక ముందు 'అన్నీ' మాట్లాడుకోవాలి అంటారు కానీ ఇంత స్పష్టంగా ఆ 'అన్నీ' ఏంటో ఎవరూ చెప్పలేదు కదా.  కొన్నేళ్ల క్రితం అసలు ఈ ఆలోచనే సాధ్యం కాదు. కట్నాలు/కన్యా శుల్కాలూ, ఆస్తి కాపాడుకోవడానికి చేసే మేనరికాలు, మగవాడి జీవితానికి ఓ సపోర్టింగ్ క్యారెక్టర్ ని అతికించి 'పెళ్ళి' అని పేరు పెట్టే సంప్రదాయాల మధ్య ఈ ప్రశ్నలు అడిగే చోటెక్కడిది? ‘వంద అబద్ధాలు ఆడైనా పెళ్ళి చేసెయ్యాలి’ అనే వాడుక ఉన్న సంస్కృతి లో ఇంత నిజాయితీ గా మాట్లాడుకోడానికి అవకాశం ఎక్కడ? అప్పుడు పెళ్ళి నుంచి...
